No big deal, the same way you increase traffic to any site... ;)

Would like to see your site.

    Cheers!

-If you go to Fiverr.ocm you can register and find people who would do link building, blog & forum commenting and more for $5. You can 'Suggest a gig' and ask for a specific job if you can't find it there.
-Paul & Angela's backlinks are very powerful. You can find their WSO on the Warrior forum or by Googling 'Angela's link'. The price is fairly reasonable and you can outsource the actual linkbuilding via Odesk, Fiverr, here on DP or elsewhere.
-Go to Twitter. Search for profiles using your keywords and follow them. Most people will follow you back. Add a news section with RSS feeds using Google News. Everytime you update the blog make sure to tweet about it. If you use Wordpress there are various plug-ins which would do it automatically for you. Some people and webmasters search for content on Twitter so if you give good content they might be interested in your site.
-Make sure you use relevant tags. Tags are the core of Web2.0 sites. When you submit your posts to Web2.0 sites always fill out the tags. The best way is to use the relevant keywords and turn them into tags.

    :)

Try keyword research tool - semrush for example, it will help you enough.

For a technical site, you could look for technical blogs in your niche, and add comments with a link back to your site, ensure that the comments add value or else they may be removed by the admin
