You can advertise your site on other sites in the same niche.
This could bring you quite a lot of targeted traffic.

Another option is to participate in Tech forums...

Ask for reviews from bloggers in your industry.

Could you optimise for some more keywords, ensure that people are searching for these keywords and that there is not too much in the way of competition for them.

You can find yourself an expert writer on her that knows your niche very well, and ask them to compose a 800 article based on some skill or method based on your niche. Submit it to digg.com , if the article was very well made, then it will reach the front page, you'll burst in traffic right from the first day, you'll recieve a handfull of rs feed subsciptions and from that day on you'll always be gaining some traffic from that article as long as its on there.

In that case you can draw a good amount of traffic from social networking sites such as orkut and hi5.

If a visitor think your site is good enough to recommend "Tell your Friend " option will also works out to achieve a viral marketing effect.

Tech is quite tricky niche. You need a lot of "Good" content with no BS and word of mouth publicity, Digg can help a bit, having a forum on the back end supports a bit, and finally last but not the least, buying traffic from others if you think its worth it :).

hi5 is gaining popularity in India and Brazil.

find technical communities and give scrap to individual members. But for retaining your visitors good content can only help you

social networking and bookmarking sites only works for marketing if you have a unique and interesting page. A spam or generic page wont get alot of diggs or stumbles.

    Submitting alone won't work Krishna.

There is lot more to it. Starting from a very interesting and catchy Title to Value filled content.

Digg can be a very powerful tool, especially for techies if you know how to use.

Here are some tips that might help you.

1> Firstly, ensure that the title speaks everything, teases people to come n have a look.
    2> Deliver quality content.
3> Stick around on Digg and be friends with regular and actual technical "Digg"ers. These guys are not "marketing" something there, but are there coz they enjoy being there. They normally leave comment quite often.
Follow them where ever they go and leave interactive comments on posts they comment on. Once they see you regularly, kinda try to know them a bit more personally. Since they are not marketers normally they don't have a problem speaking about themselves and their interests.
Once you are friends, push them on to your blog post. Don't do this everytime. They might just hate it. Don't ask them to digg in instead ask them to leave their opinion and just stick a digg option there and they automatically digg there ;).

This method has worked for me like wonders and try it, I see no reasons why it won't work :).

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    ~G

I suggested to participate in the technical forum with your signature, create a blog site that is related to your site and submit it to social bookmarking site.
