Why would you want to make something bigger than it needs to be?

If you wanted the resolution to increase, i would understand your question? Why do you want to increase the size. Everything on internet is based on decreasing.

Save it in the highest quality possible. There are free programs like Irfanview where you can choose quality.

Whatever size you have it in right now, IS the highest you can get it as a JPG.

If you have a 50k JPG, and you save it again no matter how high the quality setting and size, you WILL lose more detail and the image will look worse.

PNG is lossless quality, it's perfect. You could open a PNG and re-save it one thousand times and it would stay unchanged. If you were to open and re-save a JPG, even at high quality settings, it would continually degrade and lose quality.

Short answer: no matter what the file size is on the copy you have, that is the highest possible quality you can now get from that image.

You can try AVS Photo Editor, it can rotate, crop pictures without quality loss, remove red eye effect, adjust color balance, brightness, contrast and saturation.

It is not of importance to increase the size of the file but still if you need that, you can increase the Pixel quality and then store it you can do this in the CS editions and then save the in highest resolution possible to gain the maximum size.

    Hope this helps

You can increase the size of a jpg image with Photoshop. Also you can find a lot of online web pages where you can resize your image. Just try on google. :)

The question is actualy how much are you planning to resize it. If you are looking at a 200 or 300% then simple image resize in photoshop wil do the trick. If you are planning for more then you will have losses in picture quality and the image will look like crap=pixelated=nintendo style game in the 90s. Solution for this is plugins that use an algorithm to soften the losses and produce larger images from smaller size. Check Perfect resize http://www.on1.com/apps/resize9/.
