I have created an adwords ad for which I am getting a quality score of 7 for certain keywords. Is it possible to increase the score beyond 7 and how?
Hi....do I need to increase the budget to increase the traffic? Unfortunately I cannot play with the budget much....Is there any other way to increase the traffic. My keywords are getting ranked in top 10 results but not getting desired clicks though the impressions are quite high..
Quality Score is all about your CTR compared to the CTR of competitors. You need to be better than your competitors with better ads.
But how do I determine initially that my CTR is better than my competitors. CTR is determined after the ad is created and goes live. I thought the quality score is purely dependent upon the ad quality not the CTR.
I am not convinced that QS is related to CTR comparison, as I have printed out / saved stats over many months and the value has never changed It seems to be more related to the keywords / keyphrases used, the website content, and the adverts in use I found many 10/10 by using all kinds of strange combinations These are more relevant by category though, not to the actual content of the website! I therefore had to remove some of them, as they were actually very poorly performing Look at the overall performance of keywords / keyphrases and the adverts, concentrate on the top 10 Create a new campaign with those refined settings, and compare the QS It is quite shocking how irrelevant QS can be!
That's what QS is telling you. QS of 5 is the baseline, the average. Above that, you are better than the average. Below five, you are worse. Yes CTR will be determined after your ads are running. But the system sets an initial QS. Don't ask me how it works, pretty sophisticated stuff. But it does a more than decent job. Used to be that if it didn't get it right at first, your QS would make more dramatic jumps. I see this less and less often. CTR is quality. How else are you going to put a value to quality? You need numbers, something to compare. If you don't change a thing, chances are you won't see a change in QS. Once there's enough information, it is extremely unlikely your CTR will change so much from the norm that you'll see your QS change. In fact, I'd say it's impossible. You may see a one point change one way or another on occasion but not two points.
Write better ads CTR is the key to improve your quality score. Quality score of 7 is very good. also tweak the ads with call to action to increase your CTR. Hope this helps.
Quality score 7 is very good, try some more relevant keywords in your ad group to improve this. Another factor of quality score is your CTR.
QS= Quality score depends on a lot of factors "landing page 1 of it " but to increase QS for certain keywords you need o experiment and fund account on longer basis if you just using promo codes or some thing like that in managing campaigns it will never rise
for that you have to google adword tools to search which trends is now working and which query fires most gfxtra.in
