That's very interesting I might have to test that out one day. My ads are blended in nicely: AJAX POST tutorial BTW PHPeasystep.com does not have good ad placement. It's on the left which isn't that great. Also you're tutorials seem like they use PHP3.
I'm only a beginner in Google Adsense but heres something real interesting. I changed the color of my google ads to a crimson/red color. I also just read a post over at Perfomancing by Andy Hagan's which says sometimes you can get ridculously high conversion increases simply by changing it to red. He also swears by the google heat map example in adsense. Theres a guy Steve Pavlina who gets real high conversion rates and his blog follows the heat map pretty much exactly.
Yeah ultimately over the long term thats what it all comes down to. If you have quality content people will link to you any way. Skinny, I took a look at your site and you don't have enough spidered content. You need more content. Plus I'd look into taking your site to its own URL and using wordpress as opposed to blogger.
you may be right Hon, but sometimes people usually click it because they think it's a link to some good information and because it matches the layout of site, they dont get the impression of an ad, even if they know its an ad. So i think blending might be better. Although a red google ad, might cause some bulls to click your ads a lot. But i don't tihnk it wil always work.
I'd remove the banner size text box, get rid of the grey bar seperating nav links from main body and add a 728 x 15 text links box in the same colour as your other links. Also, i'd move down the previous links down a bit so that the new text links stand out and aren't competing
Well, I have changed my site to gazotto.com The content isn't targeted to geeks. While it is about technology I don't talk about coding or anything high level. It really is targeted to the avg joe who wants info on a certain technology or product. Skinny
If you keep posting more on the forums after you posts more than 50 you will share adsense revenue. If you most more you will get at least $0.06 a day from impressions ads from the digital point forums. Thats not much but its definately an improvement from what you have now.
What are you talking about... No such thing as impressions in Adsense, impressions dont get you money, clicks do.
No you don't because there is no option (i'm probably wrong)... I got 6000 impressions in one week or so, and still nothing! There is only an eCPM, or a estimated cost per impression or whatever, meaning its an estimate on what you earn per impression, but it is based on your clicks.
For you to get paid per 1000 impressions the advertiser has to subscribe through "Put your advertisment here" under your google ad. Thats the only way you will get paid per impressions.
