How to increase pages in the main index

My site has 1280 pages in the index
using site:example.com
but only has
34 page in google's main index
site:example.com/*

any idea how to increase amnt of pages in the main index??

 

Get more links to them. What is your site? If you post it we might be able to give you some seo tips on your site structure and keywords being targeted.

 

Google tends to index pages based on the number of backlinks they have (also based on their PR).

Obtaining more links to your other pages (even one or two links, from good websites of course) will help, or adjusting your internal linking so that every page is linked to from already ranked pages (with good PR hopefully) will also make Google index more of your pages.

 

Alter your internal linking and submit your webpages into SBM sites.

Please select some site related keywords, and then select good content for the site, and good description, these are all very important for site to index

 

Are all of your pages original content? If not, Google may keep them out of the index.

 

Does your site have a Sitemap already? If not, you should create one. That'll help a lot in indexing your inner pages.
