how to increase page rank. depends what page rank you wish. if you need 9, please add a link at main google.com website. or so.
Yeah, if we add fresh content in our site and build relevant backlinks, then PR will hopefully increase.
Hi everybody, Thank you for good and positive remarks, a few more answers: Exactly, imagine what would happen if there wasn't any Google Toolbar? People would be asking "hey we have heard so much about "Page Rank" how can we actually see it? we should be able to see "rank" of "individual" pages, does Google hate us or it doesn't wanna show it for their own reasons!" I'm with you but I hope this thread or the original post is referred when ever such questions are encountered for the betterment of the masses. Thank you
old rehashed news ...come people how about something new and ground breaking ...like keyword stuffing or article writing
I didn't said it was "useless". It is the criterion for ranking websites higher in SERPs. Yes you can "rephrase" your reply by saying "Well, the Google toolbar PR is useless!" one of my site ranks #2 (or has jumped to #2) for my targeted keyword but i haven't noticed the "visible PR" change. What do you say? Thank youi
What comes first, PR or SERPs? I'm betting as others have said, it's better to focus on content and increase your SERP's, and if you do it well, PR will follow.
True! all the top ranking websites not necessarily have high PR. If you manage to get good back links from authority sites, you shall definitely enjoy the fruit. Thank you
I agree PR is over rated, too many webmasters use as some sort of guide, in the end of the day its how much qualified traffic your site receives. I do admit PR is a good gauge of how many other sites link to you etc.
You Submit Your Site More and More Directory Submission, Classified Ad, Forum Posting, Social Book Marking, Article Submission You Complete All The SEM Part With in 2, 3 Month You PR is 2.
PageRank really isn't as important as it once was, and by all means webmasters should focus on actually getting ranked well in the SERPs. But until competing webmasters stop using it as a measuring stick, and until advertisers stop thinking of PR as a vital statistic, we're going to keep hearing a lot more about pagerank. And most of it will be stupid questions, like always.
PR is only relevant when you try to sell your website or sell links. Other than that, it's mostly useless.
Well. This is true. But there is nothing new about it. Of course the SERPs and the traffic are the most important things. But how do you get there? On many different ways. But the PR is the only way where you can see your success on a scale. i guess that is why it is so popular.
Yes maybe but whats the use of cheering over some thing that is outdated! Ranking is another way to gauge the success! Thank you
