    Mostly backlinks on well PR'ed sites. Personally I've found most directories to be garbage, but submit to good ones as well.

    Get links from high PR sites. That will increase your Page Rank. But y are you looking to increase your page rank? page rank wouldn't increase traffic to your site. Try working on optimizing your site for search engines. Work on your key words

    if u want to increase ur page rank you should bulid more back links for ur website. below are some steps to get back links


    1) dir submissons
    2) blog posting& comments
    3) link exchamge with high pr sites
    4) articles posting
    5) forums postings... etc

    back Links is the main factor that will affect PR. If you can get backlinks from high PR pages then this will boost your ranking. I will not suggest link exchange though it works somehow.
