Also keep mind when you build link, those link must be do follow, i saw that someone has mention about blog commenting is increasing PR and traffic, yes its true but most of blog are not do follow you need to ensure first either its do follow or not.

I agree with you. Every newbies are focused only on PR and some of those confused with Google PR and SERP.
