Hey guys, me and my dad built a site called

    http://www.italiancook.ca

We make a fairly shabby CTR 4.0% but we are stilling making some money.

Give me any tips, tricks or changes to increase traffic and CTR.

15K page impressions so far this month.

    Thanks,
    Rick

An introduction as your first post, would've been nice :)

As for CTR, tell us more about the situation.

ah, sorry bout that... I tend to jump into things head first all the time! Often leaves me with a sore head :p

    Let me introduce myself....

My name is Rick, im from Montreal.... im 20 years old and a psychology student @ concordia university.
I just recently found this site by accident pretty much and I think im gonna stay ;)

About the clickthrough rate.... well.... the average monthly is 4%... what other info do you need particularly>?

What im really asking is... how is the best way to integrate the banners in my site? Should I add more? Should i blend them differently? etc.

To improve CTR my adive is :

    1. Use adsense inside content. Not as a separate module.

    2. Use fairly easy different collors. Get the ad to be seen, and not blend in. (worked for me)

I wouldn't call a 4% CTR shabby. Its actually very good. What I would do is replace the two Adsense ads you have at the top with one leader board and place an ad unit between the page content.

Your ctr is very good. Usually a ctr pf 2% is considered good. 4% is impresionant.
