Im currently averaging around 0.7% for search and content.

Im currrently bidding at around 20 cents. Campaign turns around 300 % investment returns.

Will higher bidding be the answer?

Try to play with other keywords that have low bidding price and see the result.

Just test everything - different bids, placements, ads, landing pages, etc. Every campaign's unique. No-one can tell you for certain what will work.

    Here's what I would do:

    1.) Take your right hand.
2.) Put your fingers and thumb in the "high five format", (hand flat)
3.) Hold your hand about 12 inches from your right cheek
4.) Now as hard as you can slap yourself

You're getting 300% ROI and want to squeeze out more?

Seriously, that's what we call a "winner" in the business. Leave that campaign alone, go start another one in another niche. Leave that puppy on autopilot before you wreck it by over-tinkering.

    :)

I didn't say it would increase CTR. I was quite obviously speaking generally.

A 300% ROI is outstanding, worry less about that specific campaign and figure out how you can scale that to start making 10x.
