How to Increase my blog PR?

Is there anything i can do to increase my blog pr?

How do you guys obtain links from other blogs?

 

Ask other bloggers with similar blogs to exchange links, also submit your blog to directories, also ask your readers to link to you in a review, also buy text-link-ads from high pr sites.

 

Buy links or exchange them or naturally obtain them by writing content other bloggers would like to link to

 

Isn’t blog links these days worthless for generating PR? I mean its been a long time since the nofollow tag has been implemented in wordpress.

 

Blog post have no follow tags. Links are put on site by blog owners. they are text links and add page rank.

 

You mean manually added text links or those entered through blogroll?

 

@yogesh: the no-follow are only for URLs in comments (re: Wordpress). Links added through the Blogroll and displayed on your sidebar work as normal and counts as a link to the other site.

The best way is to get a following and write good articles. The site in my sig PR 5 after 2 months, and I never did any SEO (the only directory I submitted it to at the time was DMOZ, which wasn't approved until February).

 

Write unique content and people will link to you.

Get more trackbacks for your blogs. that would help your blogs to get good links from many quality sources.Its all about building social networks, communication and relationships with others..thts important

 

link exchange, directory submission and article submission are the three methods that i use! and it works.

article submission will defenitely work, and it is one of the best methods, just put one or two links in the article and submit it to as many article submission sites as possible!! cheers!

how can writing an article can increase your PR. you need to submit it to some directories too.
if you share where you submitted your article that will be helpful.

 

Not really, people like to link to quality articles from their blogs, forums and sites.

 

Its understanable as we write articles for people. unless we present it to public, is useless. I feel Anita did'nt mention this because its quite understandable
