How to Increase Keyword Ranking in US?

I need to increase my keyword ranking in US. Suggest some tips or techniques and share some do follow sites from where i can get the back link for my site. Everyone suggestions are most welcome.

First of all go to your webmater tool and change geographic to United states and submit your website to US Local website and do some blog commenting .

 

1. Get backlinks from US IPs
2. Get com/us TLD
3. basically anything that will make google think your local (mention a local address, write the content as if you were writing to an American person etc...)
