How to Increase Hits and Traffic

I juswt launched a new site and I am looking for ways to increase hits and traffic.

I added a DIGG for the site here..

I am also advertising on MySpace and a few other sites like this. Can someone else suggest another way to build hits and traffic for this new site? I would like to get it built fast.

My prime form of advertising is article marketing. Perhaps you can write some articles on Christian rock and submit them to article directories.

THERE IS NO FAST! Unless you have a marketing budget to advertise on T.V.

i dont know about brining ur PR up so quick - may raise a red flag

 

Just my 2 cents input to your site design: what about trying light colored background instead of black in it.
