How to increase Google's crawling frequency

Can anyone help with increasing google crawling frequency. I am sure is not the criteria.

 

Write new content every day and googlebot will come more often....

NEW content is the key

 

If you sign up for a google webmaster tools acount you can increase the crawling rate to "fast"

 

You could get a sitemap. But like everybody else has said so far, new content will keep the bot coming.

Agreed, but it will tell you if your getting crawled enough.

it only allows you to select fast if your site needs it...

 

most people won't have that auction...but google sitemaps tells you how often you are crawled
