How to Increase Google ranking?

    I have a banking site with about 28 keywords on which 23 keywords first page of Google. Other keywords are entered into the second page. I do competitor analysis and found that competing sites that have more backlinks than my website. Other things like keyword density is ok for my site. I continue to work side for my site. What should I do to get the placement of keywords in a first page of Google?

    for competitive keywords it could take long time to get on the first page.
    two key factors for getting better serp rank are content and quality backlinks.

    It will take time before you get enough links to get you to the top, but increase the quality backlinks and the chance will be bigger you'll get noticed. The amount of backlinks can than only be multiplied ;)

    you will simply get same answer from every one that get more backlinks, but try to digg more to search things about your compititors and you will sure get some good result.

    As far as back links are concerned rather having number of back links if you have quality back links surely your site will rank high.

    . If you wish to improve your ranking for certain keyword then put back links from that keywords to relevant content.
    . Say if you are targeting car loans and you had put the back link of car loan keyword to home loans or say home page of your site then your site will not gain any ranking you have to link it to page where content is for car loans only.
    . Make blog and article entry on daily basis your site will surely rank high.

    Get more profile back links and also get back links by commenting on blogs having same keywords,submit articles to article directory,bookmark your site.

    I believe you are doing great so far, if you are on Google's first page for 23 keywords out of 28
    A little more work on building quality back links + rich content will take care of the rest

    Collect only quality relevant backlinks for your site.I think SEO is the best way to make good links with popular sites that have a good PR in the Google search. Make an unique content and try to update regularly. I think Google loves fresh content.
