increase the quality of your site , making just 2 checks in 2 years with a site having 300 hits per day is not good. try to increase your CTR by experimenting with the ads placement and try to increase organic traffic by doing SEO

Work 10 Hours a day on your blogs. Do research before you post. Post a Lot. After every post spend 3 hours in link building. Before that find the high PR forums that incorporates Blog facility and give you do follow links (eg: v7n). Keep your Niche Tight. Target ranking for short keywords. Work on your blog like your religion.

In the end there are only a few ways to increase your Adsense earnings.

    1) Create more blogs - having multiple streams of revenue will ultimately increase the bottom line.
    2) Find more profitable niches - not all sites will have advertisers paying large payouts. Find the highest earning niches and move to those.
    3) Get more traffic - If you don't want to start over or move to a different niche the only way to get more revenue is to get more traffic.

Obviously all of those options require a lot of work but that's just the way it is. There is no magic solution to earn money without any work.

I once came across a forum discussing how to earn from blogging and adsense. say, if you're earning $10/month on 1 blog, create 10 more with the same quality/traffic or better, by then you'll have $10/month x 10 blogs = $100. Don't expect too much to earn on 1 or 2 blog unless you're getting hundred of hits per day or huge traffic.

to earn with adsense you need:
lot of traffic + lot of clicks + topic based on an active buyers market

so simply target non technical people from western countries interested about a topic where there is a lot of money to be made by vendors.

Find all that, then do as Rupam said: WORK

Keywords are important. Another most important thing is CTR. There's actually no actual system or rules to increase CTR. So You can experiment on different way to see what happened..Persistence is very very important..

There is power in numbers. The more you post, the more content you add, the more you interact with visitors, the more traffic you will get (which means more clicks for your ads). You may also want to consider moving to a more profitable niche. I don't know what your current niche is, but I've learned that when it comes to adsense, not all niches are created equal.

Think about it like this: lots of people seem to hate ads in the first place (if you go to YouTube you will find people bashing the ads in the comments section). If there is such a general disdain for advertising to begin with, you better make sure you're placing them within a niche where people are desperate for solutions (health and wellness, internet marketing, payday loans, etc). If you put them in places where people are doing anything possible to avoid them altogether (technology, video sites, freebie sites) your clickthrough rate will be low, no matter how many unique visitors you get. Even a site like Facebook, which is the second most visited site in the world, has an absolutely atrocious clickthrough rate for their ads (less than 1%). The only reason they generate so much revenue is because the volume of users they have offsets their low clickthroughs.

This is one of the reasons that so many people fail with adsense. They believe that they can generate revenue in ANY niche so long as they have a quality website with tons of visitors. This is far from true, and choosing the right niche is something that you NEED to get right from the very beginning. I learned this the hard way. I created one site that was focused on selling laboratory equipment (and I knew the business because I worked in labs) and another site that was aimed at helping people to quit smoking (as I had experience in that as well). The results weren't even close. My smoking-cessation site blew away the lab equipment site in terms of earnings, because the subject of the site targeted people that were desperate for solutions. I don't want to make it sound bad, but desperate people will click on anything that they might consider to be a solution to their problems, even if it's on a banner ad.

Moral of the story is that visitors and content are important, but the niche is even more so. I know a lot of people won't like to hear that, but I'm merely speaking from my own experience. Hope this helps.

Try writing posts on higher paying keywords. Then add those posts as featured post on your blog. Your earnings should increase just by doing that.

Might want to change your website design.
If you are using wordpress, try neoclassic theme - it is old, but works fine and I get 7% CTR with it.

Make websites targeting us visitors, CPC of US targeted keywords are high..

One of my india related site(5 years old) was getting around $150/month with 3000 uniques per day and another US targeted site which i made last year was earning near $200/month from 200 uniques per day before i sold it..
