I have only started to get back into running sites again, so I can't offer up too much in-depth help, the last time I ran sites it was all about Page Rank. But I found this article which I hope can be of help to you. https://seopressor.com/blog/how-to-increase-domain-authority/
That is a really bad article. Most of what they suggest does NOT improve DA !!!!! The author did not even bother to read the MOZ info that linked about what they use to calculate DA.
Don't focus on your DA, just create quality content for your website, continue doing on seo and make use of social media.
Why you are focusing on DA? It is not important as it was before. Instead of increase DA build quality backlinks to your website, optimize your website On-Page and your DA will automatically increase. Don't forget to do the work as per the Webmasters Guidelines.
Pick a domain name that is relevant to your niche. Optimize on-page SEO including your title tags, image alt tags, and the content. Produce high-quality content that people will link to. Include internal links to improve user experience. Run an audit to remove bad and broken links for a healthy website.
For increasing DA you have to have to work on technical SEO first create user friendly website and then optimize your content and work on on-page SEO, I'm working on my own affiliate money saving coupon website you check it out and get some idea from there.
To increase the DA, you need a great strategy, thousands of pieces of great content, and lots of patience. Few things will help you achieve a better DA score. Publish quality content On-Page SEO Generate high-quality links for your site Internal linking is key Disavow bad links Increase publishing frequency
Plan the Off-Page optimization strategy Plan the On-Page optimization strategy Improve your technical SEO Mobile-friendly website get a positive impact on SEO and that really help to increase your DA Improve your page speed with GTmetrix and Google page speed Social media optimization Be Patience
Well your strategy appears to have backfired as you've managed to get yourself banned. But if you have patience who knows, you might in time get reinstated.
@Agent000 You seem to be bashing everyone, but not giving any useful suggestions yourself. Since you think everyone is posting horse manure, so why don't you tell what is DA?
Firstly, they should not be posting in forums giving advice if they have no clue what they are talking about. Their replies are just cut and pastes of what they read elsewhere. Its stupid and embarrassing and they should be bashed. Secondly, I have previously posted in multiple threads how to increase it. Here it is again, right from the source of those who actually calculate DA: https://moz.com/learn/seo/domain-authority
There are a lot of good advices here. But if you have a young website the fastest way to increase your DA is to register it in web catalogs, niche catalogs, create social media profiles. For example if you have a "start-up", register your website on all websites for startups. If you have a regional business, register it in regional catalogs. Long-term strategy should be to right quality content and generate backlinks to it. Maybe it will sound old-fashioned, but it is all about backlinks, still...
DA is all about backlinks, but it's not very important, in terms of how you rank. Google really doesn't care about it or acknowledge it, so if you're looking to rank higher, focus on SEO guides from authority figures like Moz, as they'll cover the factors that really matter (page speed, relevant content, User Experience, etc.) It's a long, complex answer -- but in short, if you wanna rank higher, focus on User Experience. Start there. UX is everything.
Who cares? The ONLY things that matter are the CONTENT on your site and a DECENT method for the user to interact with that content.
