how to increase crawling and indexing rate of a site?

Used document sharing site for doing this job... I found Docstoc is far more excellent in getting search engine ranking then scribd and slideshare. Recently I found many spammer spamming scribd profile and document in guestbook. But I have not seen such case with DOCSTOC or SLIDESHARE

 

One way of getting indexed quicker is to get a couple of links form high PR sites. If you have 2 links from sites with PR7 you can get indexed straight away. The lower the page rank the more links you need. An other way is, can submit under do follow sites so that you can easily get the page rank. Update your site frequently which makes your site to be often crawled by the bot.

 

Getting links from sites that are frequently indexed by Google has always helped me so far in getting my sites indexed timely.

Assuming sitemap has no problem and you've submitted it under Google Webmaster account, keep building links for the site - for both homepage and internal pages. Also, see if site structure is okay and pages are well-linked with each other.

best is to frequently update new content on your website and increase the crawl rate from google webmaster tool.
To increase crawl rate, you will have to add and verify your website in google webmaster. then goto site configuration -> Settings -> crawl Rate -> Set custom crawl rate

 

Put a unique article or blog on your site on daily basis, i am sure your site will be crawl and index daily.

 

well you should Social media optimization and yahoo comment posting with relevant forums posting because there is come Google crawl many times and update regular basic content information..because google likes quality content..
