How to increase click rates?

    Is there any optimization to increase the click prices. something like, to show the costly ads in the top of the pages may increase the rates. can anyone suggest the better placements?

    Google serves higher CPC ads to the first Adsense code in your HTML, so if you are getting higher clicks to a certain ad type, put it first in the code to improve performance

    I never saw more than $2 for a single click. I have seen few blogs talking about optimize the keywords to get more rate for click. How to do that?

    Google serves higher paying ads on the top of your page (first loading ads).
    CPC depends very much on your niche.
