To increase your blog PR you have to obtain backlinks from high PR sites. You can create a few articles and post them on squidoo, wordpress, blogger, hubpages and then put a link from those web 2.0 sites with igh PR back to your main site/blog. With time, your blog's PR will grow. Someone , for example, posted an article on squidoo (which is PR 6, i think) and linked to his new site,.... in one month his PR was 2. So I guess it works
