Yahoo explorer still my favorite to check my backlinks. Writing good content and article submission would be good but I don't think link exchange would make a good benefit since it's 2-way link.
I would say the two that work for me the best are commenting on top commentator blogs and working on my content. I have found the better my content the more people post links for it. This weekend I tracked more links going to my site than I could have posted myself
If you just got it up and running yesterday, you need to give it some time. Search results will start to show up once their bots have crawled your site and the link to your site.
what do you mean writing content that people would want to link to. How does this help my site? Do you mean as in exchanging links when they see my content and feel as if they want to link to me? I never understand when I read the method of writing content that people would want to link to?
I believe they mean if you have written good content in your site then people are going to link to your site because it provides good information and maybe even post a link to your site on Blogs or Forums. This way you will not be exchanging links but rather getting a link back to your site without returning the favor. This method also looks better to search engines since it is a one way link. Hope that helps.
You can also write guest posts for other peoples blogs. Blog owners are always looking for good new content. But your content has to be top quality.
I always feel like a broken record -- or maybe a scratched CD or corrupted MP3 for you younger folks -- when I say this, but the most important thing is to actually have something worth linking to! Unfortunately, too many wannabe Internet marketers try to put the cart before the horse. They struggle with getting back links to their pages because their pages don't contain any information that anyone cares about or whatever want to read! Look... When someone creates a link from their blog or their website to your blog or a page on your website, they are staking their reputation on the value of that link. In essence, they are staking their reputation on the value of the content they're linking to. Nobody wants to stake their reputation on a link to crap. If you want lots of backlinks, you have to publish content that is highly valuable and worthy of a lot of backlinks. When you publish content, your reputation is determined by the accuracy, usefulness, and overall value of that content. So, step one is: be link-worthy! Obviously, "if you build it, they will come" doesn't usually apply. Every once in a while, somebody lucks out and just "gets discovered", but it doesn't happen very often. Even so, the one thing that all of those "discoveries" have in common is that the thing being discovered was either new, unique, or really cool in some way. You still have to promote your content, but it all starts with: GOOD CONTENT!
Thanks, and go for it! It's a play on Elaine's "sponge-worthy" term from an old Seinfeld episode... The contraceptive sponges were going off the market, so she bought up as many boxes as she could find and didn't want to waste one on a guy who wasn't... well... sponge-worthy!

Probably I think it will take a month to index in google, am I right.... And can you help me, is there any good site/tool to check back links.
If you use Google Webmasters you can upload your website's site map and then your site will be index very quick, usually a couple of days. Google Webmasters also displays backlinks that Google search bots find going back to your site. However it does not find all of them so the number will usually fluctuate each time it updates. You can sign up for it here, Google Webmasters. Hope that helps.
