    while you need to vary your link building methods, I believe article marketing is the best since you can get relevant links. But it needs quite a lot of works.

    Other than the techniques you have specified, Social Networking, Search Engine Submission, One Way Linking and if you have time and interest then start creating web pages like Squidoo, Hub and Tumblr...

    Ther are many more ways to increase backlinks...

    1. If you have some good material then submit it into wikipedia.
    2. social marketing and bookmarking.
    3. through link exchage
    4. many of them buy links(but dont do that)
