Hi I have been working on my games website for the past 4 months and have only achieved around 10c per week from adsense in return. Please can you review my site and post any comments or suggestion on how I can increase my adsense income. www.dmcgames.co.nz
Well, yours is a nice site, I don't see anything wrong. Its eye-catching I would say. But PPC is a thing that we must understand to have an answer to your question. Those ads are the ones that generated through Google AdWord prog, aren't they? So Google shre some amount that Google is paid with us for publishing them in our sites. I have seen that it is us that decide how much to pay for an AdWord ad, starting from $0.01. So if someone clicked on such you will get only a nominal amount. I the clicker does it on an ad pays google $1000 then google will pay u good sum.
Hi dasser, Your problem is simple, you need more traffic for your site and then your earnings will go up. I had the same problem when I started my arcade.
Hi Guys Thanks for your replies. I have been trying to increase my traffic by submitting my website to directories and trying to link exchange with other sites but little improvement has been accomplished. Do you have any suggestions on how I can increase traffic for my site?
Why not add a blog on your site, and create original contents? Remember that visitors only click ads because they need them. If your visitors are busy with online games and enjoying them, why would they click your ads? Just my 2 cents though.
You're welcome. I think giving personal tips on how to win the games will be good topic to start with. Good luck!
that's a good point. I never thought of that for a gaming site. I've never click on any ads at gaming sites.
Well, you should do some keyword research and find ways to increase traffic. Don't go for "play online games" right now. Take gradual steps and slowly you will gain traffic. One thing you can do is exchanging links with high traffic sites. It helps in games niche, i feel. Hope that helps BUBAIPAL
The popup that appears when you first load the site says "Sponsors" and it shows an AdSense ad. That's against their TOS. Make it Advertisements or something.
Sell a product... You can do affiliate marketing or resell rights products, as long as they are related to your niche. But of course, you should create a blog along with your site. Hope that helps.
agree with guardianAngel you can sell product that related to your niche. its more big chance to achieve more revenue
I have checked 8 pages of your website. I never found in one ad relevant to the content of your website..... Target to get relevant ads, by relevant keywords... Your ad placement is perfect. But you need to make a small correction... Game lovers start looking directly at games instead.....So place just one line below..Just give a try.. I wish it would bring some serious results
Hi Guys, thanks for your replies. I will try implement some relevant content into the website. I didn't realize that I did not have relevant Key words so will change that as well. Also I will look for products that are relevant to my website. Is it against the rules? It is not a pop up. It is a splash page that shows when other components are loading. I didn't see anything in Google TOS that said that couldn't be done?
