From what I understand, to improve SEO, I need content in my affiliate/niche site, correct? The way I have it setup though (like BANS) is that it pretty much looks like a store when you go on and you buy products. What I want to know is how people are creating 'content' and 'articles' on their site? The thoughts I had where: an article on the product page right before the ebay feed or a separate page that I update w/ articles and reviews. For the second way, would that allow all my other pages to get indexed (the ones that aren't updated, ie set and forget?). Also, for the first method, does it seem like it would push customers away from having to be confronted by a paragraph of text and then the products? Thanks for anyone's help.
Check my bans site http://coinerror.org. You can see that I have added content before the feed on a few categories. I am no way closed to being finished though! A lot of categories to go!
Also, check this thread if you have the chance. Similar program, but better! http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=612959
you have to think BANS as an ecommerce site - a lot of ecommrece site has details on the item itself which is content and small articles - but since this is a virtual storefront it is hard to add seo o it unless you write som e small articles to it - IMO
