Like what most others said, you shouldn't worry so much about your Alexa ranking. Just keep getting as much traffic to your site as possible by writing articles, submitting to social bookmarking sites, and many more ways.
this is simple tips but it helps in some manner.. just set your website as your homepage for your browser..
The basic answer to this question is to get more traffic. There are many ways to do that contingent upon your type of site and the money you are willing to spend on it.
my site Alexa rank is very nice cos i do manual social bookmarking web directry submission and add site in search Engines
It is nice to have a good Alexa ranking, but it is not the end-all-be-all to measure traffic to your site. Alexa ranking is based on the number of people who go to your site who have the Alexa toolbar installed on their computer. This heavily favors webmasters and people already concerned with website statistical data. I have heard of cases when a site's Alexa ranking jumped significantly, yet the website's reporting tools reflected no such jump in traffic. In terms of how long it takes to get a decent Alexa ranking, it all depends. Some sites get it in a few months, some never do.
Why not set your goal to get more out of your wedsite? Focus on how you can make more money using your website rather than the alexa rank. Start posting quality contents. Post contents which others want to link. Ex. Freebies, Coupons, Reviews
I have a site that has 400k Alexa, and gets 10x the traffic of one of my 120k Alexa sites. Alexa means nothing.
I read once you could join a community of 'auto surfing' sites which all would help each other raise their Alexa - but I don't really see the point because nobody who knows anything about the internet gauges a site via Alexa rank.
Alexa ranking is like beauty, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In my case, the beholder is a CEO of a site that does about a million dollars per week, if he thinks Alexa is meaningful than Alexa ranking is meaningful. Also, if you are selling advertising on a site, some advertisers base what they pay on "meaningless" measures like Alexa and Google PR so meaningless rankings can translate to meaningful cash. One thing that I have seen help is posting on webmaster forums and including your link in your post or your signature. There is a high concentration of Alexa toolbar users in webmaster forums.
