How to improve the speed of your website ?

    I checked my website in Google Analytics and found that my website loads in IE about 0.28s, which is not bad. But in firefox and chrome, the loading speed is fomidablely slow, about 20-30s. Originally, we put our server in USA, but it was transferred to singpore afterwards. What should i do now to slove the problem?

    the speed of website loading depends on the followings:
    1/ The location of server: if you put your server in USA and you access in Singapore, of course the speed is a bit more slowly
    2/ The server package that you buy: big or medium or small package ?
    3/ The website design: if your website is designed suitable, then the speed is faster

    If we are a China-based company, but our target customers are from overseas, and language of our website is English. Would it be faster if i put the server in USA. And what kind of configurations should i choose for the server, such as RAM and bandwidth ? What esle should i pay attention to ?
