Hi, We run a campaign related to cars and trucks. For many keywords the Quality score is poor even though the keywords are relevant to the landing page. Can you please help us out of this?
Try to optimize your keyword's performance, 'coz if your Quality Score is low, you may be using keywords, ads, or landing pages that aren't as targeted or relevant as they could be. This can mean higher minimum CPC bids and a potentially poor return on your investment. Read this from Google Adwords Help Center: http://adwords.google.com/support/bin/static.py?page=tips.html
If the keywords are truly relevant to your landing page then it is likely to be a CTR or ad relevance issue. Try writing many more ads and have them rotate to find the best.
Use the keyword tool to find keywords on your landing page, and also as pedigreechump6 said try different ad variations.
Try to write relevant ads and use different landing pages for each campaign or adgroup. In toher words try to be more specific.
Did your QS gradually deteriorate over a period of time? If so, then you may be suffering due to a poor clickthrough rate. If this is the case, you need to write adverts that people click on! They need to notice it, and then click on it. Why should they click on to your site rather than someone else's? Here's a guide I wrote about this a while back: http://www.epiphanysolutions.co.uk/...your-google-adwords-quality-score/advert-text
This goes along the lines of what pinkblush, steliosp and a few others suggested... Are you trying to stuff too many keywords into each ad group? You may need to break them up into more focused ad groups, and then write ads which focus more intently on the keywords in each group. I recently took over a campaign which had a few hundred keywords, and just 5 ad groups. Needless to say, there was a very weak relationship between the keywords and the ads...and there were MANY "Poor" quality scores. Often, the keyword phrase did not show up in the ad text whatsoever (including synonyms).
How many ad groups and how many keywords in each ad group do you have? Also, what kind of a CTR are we talking about?
