How to improve my site to gain more hits?

    my website is around 680,000 alexa rate but i just get about $1 per day.

    how to improve my site to a higher level?

    Don't bother with alexa, I have website with 2,000 000 that makes more than the one with 140 000 rank. :)

    Focus on traffic and ad positioning.

    Work on your traffic. Submit your site to directories, work on SEO, Stumble, etc. You could also try paid advertising such as Adwords.

    Oh, don't forget: if it's a small niche site you will get a better targeted ads.
    And better targeted ads will result in higher CTR and thus bigger revenue.

    There are lots of adsense tips out there.Just google it.You are lucky to have such good alexa ranking which means that you have lots of visitors.Which also means that it will be easier for you to monetize your website
