How to improve my conversion rate ?

    Hi,

my websites are getting very nice traffic, more then 80% are new visitors, but my conversion rate is not so good as before , i guess it went down due to the economics problems.

I saw a few companies online that offer these kind of services - to improve conversion rate, but of course they are not cheap and i would hate to spend $2,000-3,000 on a company that wont bring results, they all know how to sell themselves, but are they for real ?

So my question to you guys is if you know a company that will redesign my website and get me better conversion rate. Or if you have other ideas how to convert more.

My sites are in my links.

    Thanks a lot.

I think instead of changing webdesign you should try out to find effective way to retain your visitors. Also check are you getting targeted traffic?

Conversion rate depends on three things:

    1. Quality of traffic (make sure you target the right keywords).
    2. Sale copy (a decent sale copy could greatly improve your conversion rate).
    3. Product (some products are just too cool, while other products won't convert no matter what).

It's a good idea to experiment with your sale copy, tweaking it just a little bit every time.

    Hi Alfredito,

I just spent a bit of time on your site... I really like the look and feel!

Have you ever tried using 3rd party trust seals like trust-guard.com,
    BetterBusinessBureau, Truste?

I used Trust Guard on 1 site before and did see a difference. I played around
with the seal's position and right in the header/just below it AND at the bottom
of every page, was what seemed to work best!

Some of them are quite expensive but if memory serves me right Trust Guard
was like a couple of hundred a year... well worth the price IMHO!

    Cheers, Pete

Offer a high value item for free - then they'll ask to purchase from you.

    All the best

To retain customers, you have to continue providing them with products they need. As for the existing products they buy from you, offer value added services to make them happy customers. Additionally, superior customer services is what separates one business from the other so make sure that you're good at it.

Since most of your traffic is organic, the first thing you should know that such traffic is notorious for not buying. Most of them, that is. They are window shoppers, hopping from site to site. Also, you have the bored ones at work, hopping from site to site.

The second thing is, since most of your traffic is organic, I am going to assume that you do not have that many daily visitors. So, conversion rate, in most cases is between one half to, maybe, two percent.

    Yes, it is that low.

If your daily visitors is, say, 50 a day, and most are leaving within, say, 60 seconds, you won't see a sale for quite awhile.

Next, how is your bounce rate? If most, which are NOT organic traffic, are leaving within, say, 60 seconds, ya got a problem.

High bounce rate is typical with organic traffic.

In my professional opinon, organic traffic doesn't mean squat.

How many are going past the homepage?

Do you have any under $100 yo ucan start off with?

    Recession, remember?

Such sites like Amazon.com may be able to pull it off, but they are a recognized site.

You have some expensive watches there? Even the $100 range may be a little steep for many.

You have to also remember, if you don't know already, that many will not spend that much online. $50, okay, but over $100??

Why should I, as a potential customer buy from you, when I can buy one at the store, like, say, Wal-Mart at the same or below that price?

    What benefits do YOU have???

If you can give some good reasons, put that on your homepage!

    Look at this page:

    http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4840144

    And Casio are good watches.

Can you put in your own thoughts, sell words in with the feed???

Say more than just what is next to the watches.

You have a grammar error on this page:

    http://www.replicawatch4u.com/iwc.html

It should be, Newsletter Sign Up.

By the way, who goes to a blog for watches?

    Put this section,
above your watches. Introduce yourself, and tell them why they should consider buying from you. THEN show them the watches.

Remember, you are not a recognized store. Warm them up a bit, but keep it short.

Enlarge all of the the text. It is way too small.

Maybe give more than one picture of the watches? Maybe have different angles of it?

Maybe put in pictures of men and women wearing watches? Maybe a couple of children, also?

    Make your sites more personable!

Your sites looks nice. It needs a few changes, but I don't think that really is the major problem.

I wouldn't do it. On something like this it is not needed. I would venture to guess that these people wouldn't even touch on what I have told you. Or what your family, and others may tell you if you ask them.

Just stick to asking others what they think.

Ask friends, coworkers, family, hell, even your mailman and the sales associate at Starbucks coffee house. Heh, I have. :)

    Which sites are these, anyway?

My bounce rate is about 35% , average time on site is more then 3 min'. 90% land on the homepage.

I convert LESS then 1% in the past 2-3 month, thats why im getting worried.

But i see what you are saying, i'll try to make some changes to show them "who i am".

    Thanks.

Well I think people don't buy replica watches that much. Anyways you need to put up testimonials to convince people to buy them.
