Hi everyone ! I am Simon and I am new on this forum so, I think it’s the right place for this post, but I am not sure about it, if it’s not the case, I am sorry! I began an internship 2 weeks ago, in a small company which purpose internship and accommodation all over Europe for students, and which is named Eurasmus. My first task is to work on their Backlink strategy, So this is what I put in practice: - Creation of content with direct backlink to the main site in order to purpose it to some website or forum of university student and expat or traveller. - Creation of an Iconography also with direct backlinks integrated - Creation of multiple social account with the link in the profile (Tumblr,FB,Insta,Twitter,Pinterest) - Creation of a Blogger (where I published the previous article) - Contact of University/Traveller(who have a blog or a site), forum about student/studying abroad/expat - Publication of internship and accommodation on appropriate portal What do you think of these ways of generating backlinks? What could you suggest me to do it better and be more successful? If you have any other idea and way to do some backlinks, I will be glad to heard about it! Thank you very much for your time, and for your answers! Ps: for the moment this strategy doesn’t seems to be really successful, even if, I know that the process could take some times!
Blog networking is one of the best in which your content post are in the form of why what where wherein that answers your target audience needs.
Hi Simon, welcome. You can start making profile pages in different platforms like blogs, forums or question-answers websites.
It takes time for SEO to show in your organic results, so be patient. Use some of the following tools to check the backlinks of your competitors and see where you can improve: Ahrefs, Majestic SEO, Backlink Watch
your keyword is not good enough to fancy the search engines. As everyone knows keywords plays a vital role in link building. If you need more info on keywords please look into google keyword tool that matches your site
Promote your content on web 2.0 sites, and of course drop a backlink to your site in there. You can scrape high page authority expired web 2s and re-register them that have lots of backlinks pointing to them, they are pretty powerful when used in the right way.
Some social networks are strict about some sites treating them as possible adult content even if they aren't like mine about online dating, of course there are some work arounds like posting your website from your personal account. My website is moderated by moderators and me the administrator to block nudity and abusive content, but of course its impossible for them to check that.
For your strategy you will need backlink checker. I saw free tool here http://www.raritysoft.com/reviews/ensure-the-validity-and-quality-of-your-backlinks-with-raritysoft-backlink-checker
