How to improve my Alexa ranking?

I found that the alexa ranking of my web has not changed a month of Sundays,it's always hesitated at 120000 ,how can i improve it?

My site has uploaded on July - 03 - 2008, and now its alexa rankink is 766k.

 

Try to get visitors your Alexa wud also increase......................

 

When you Get More Quality Back links, then Alexa ranking automatically Improve............

Thanks for your advise.but i heard that only the vistors has installed alexatoolbar ,it is worth for me.i think it's difficult to know whether he has installed it.
And backlinks is important,but it also difficult to have some free quality backlinks.

 

Try to post your website in directories and article and use social bookmarking through this way you can get visitors then automatically the alexa rank will be decrease.

As i know Alexa does not have any relation from Quality backlinks. Alexa giving rank to your site after measuring traffic from those people who are using Alexa Toolbars in their Browsers.

I have seen many sites those have lots of gud backlinks and good Google PR but their Alexa Rank is very Bad...............

This site has plenty of gud backlinks and gud Google PR but Alexa is very bad. It's Alexa above 11,00,000..................

Can anyone tell me why the ranking numbers go up on some days and then down again the next day?
