    As much i know link popularity increases along with backlinks pointing to your domain... So, get some dofollow blog posting, forum posting,, directory submission and something else.

    Backlinks can be gained in many ways.

    To be truely successful you need to both follow the pack AND think outside the box to adda 'mystery' ingrediant to your link juice.

    If it works for the rest it will work for you but you need to be ahead of tha pack as well.

    Sit down with a pen and paper and jot down any and all ideas you come up with.

    Then boil down to your chosen few.

    Think about how google attributes authority and try and mimic / get links from those sites.
