To help with your accent, listen to talk radio but choose serious programs aimed at an older audience.
Once you've written a website, submit it to a website review section of a website design forum and specifically ask for English correction. Some people are helpful - especially if you admit that you are trying to improve grammar.
Read and practice writing everyday. As for accent, I believe that cannot be mastered unless you grew into the language when you were a child.

English is not my first language and I know I have so many flaws here but though I try to improve from my mistakes. Few things which I have learned from the experience : When you write an article , check for misspell, read the article twice before hitting the publish button that will help you to write a solid article and get rid of common errors. Initially it requires practise but later on it will become a habit. Vocab building is something which is required and necessary for any writers so when you read any article try to write that word in notepad and use those words more often. Guys dnt shoo me for my bad English. I'm just a learner.
Software is reading and only one technique that is writing Do a lot of reading and writing; while reading gives you the perspective writing helps you to put into practice!
I'm not sure if the food thing will work for having a better accent, as accent is only based on when you started to learn the language. If you want to be better at writing/understanding English, you should be talking English with your family members/friends whenever you can, and watching English TV programs. Hope this helps, and good luck ^^

Here, here. That annoys the hell out of me. My son from time to time will email me using SMS speak, I simply reply, "now explain it in English". If he wants something, he will. (sorry, went off-topic a bit)
