How to improve earnings per click?

I have gotten 6 clicks today and 1857 impressions, but I have only made $0.14! Most people get a lot more than that, right? Earlier today, I had two clicks and had made $0.14 and now I have six clicks and the same amount earned. If anyone can help me out, I'd be very very grateful.

You can check with Google adsense heat and see if your placement are okay. Then see if your niche is in a higher paying niche. For instance, if your niche is in debt, insurance, webhosting, education, loans travel just to name a few, then your clicks will earn higher. It always depends on your niche.

You cannot make decisions based on 2 clicks. If you're displaying multiple ads, the ads at the top of the page will have higher payouts than the ones below.

Check the ads displayed on your website (DO NOT directly click the adsense ad).
If the advertiser's site is using cpc programs like Adsense (with no direct revenue from selling products/ services) - the low clicks are due to the arbitrage. Try to filter such urls thru the "competitive ad filter" provided in your Adsense account.

Try changing the ad types - for example "text only ads" work fine for my site. May be "image only ads" can work for yours.

There are also some other factors that influence the cpc - the visitor's country and your site's niche.

CPC mostly depend on your niche. I will suggest you to improve your CTR. 1800 impresion with only 6 click, less then 0.5%. Play around with your ads placement

Thats a low , low CTR , i would be more worried about that than the revenue for 6 clicks.
