How to improve CTR ?

My website has 500-600 UV /day, but I only got less than 1 % CTR on average. Do you guys have any idea on how to improve it?

Generally, does the background color of Google ads have to have blend color to improve CTR?

Any ideas on other good-earning Ads provider besides adsense?

Factors to improve CTR include ad placement, ad colors, and ad relevance.

1) Make sure the ads are above the fold and located in the adsense hotspots.

2) Blending the ads is a good idea. Make the background color blend with the site, and the link color the same color as the other links on the site, so it doesnt look like ads.

3) Use section targeting to get more relevant ads.

yellow area
white area = can't suck more

basically, it allows you to tell the adsense bot which parts of the page to ignore or include.

Depends on the site, but I would say anywhere between 5-30%

 

you can increase ctr by increasing traffic.
