How to improve CTR, Click to rate

Hey guys,

that's what CTR stands for right? Click to rate? Click through rate? Not sure, but you know what i mean. How can you get more ppl to click? I mean legit clicks.

Its pretty horrible right now. 0.88% or is that horrible?

Are you talking about getting people to click on adverts on your site, or improving the CTR rates of people who are clicking on adverts to come to your site?

For inbound links (where you are paying to get clicks), you need to make the advert more appealing, try a few different types.

For outbound links (where you get paid when someone clicks), try putting less content on the page. I found when there is less content (less options), people will click on the adverts.

One of the biggest money makers for me was a site that had news articles, when the news article expired there was almost nothing on the page. The CTR rates were really high, because the user had nothing else to click on.

 

CTR need to be at least >1%

I recently improved my ctr quite a bit It has been 5.41% this month so far. I did this by offering a lot more free content (I doubled it), and by increasing the amount of ads I display. Every site is different, but this worked for me.

 

I think you can try google adwords with right keyword to increase CTR
