I think i have pretty low to decent conversion rates and iv lately been looking around for tools and software that would help me increase conversion rates.

I follow smashing magazine on twitter and they tweeted about http://www.inspectlet.com so i signed up for their free trail and they do help bit with heat maps, visitor screen capture, and real-time analytics. but i want to ask around and look for other sites before i start paying their $8 a month fee.

also looking to try http://userfly.com/ and they seem to have really good reviews but they only do screen capture and cost more than inspectlet. any particular reason for their price? do they have a better interface?

    any experience with http://www.crazyegg.com/?
again they only do heatmaps i think. r they worth the price?

    clickdensity?
i also heard a lot of good things about click density. what do u guys have to say about it?

    all help is appreciated thx.

P.S. If this is in the wrong section pls let me know

Based on the knowledge I have, you can improve your website's conversion rate by:

    * Improving your sales letter – use the services of a professional copywriter if you want to have the best results.

    * Improve your website’s design, so that it may help your visitors follow the right steps, which will lead them to making a buying decision.

chrissponias - thx for your input. i was talking more about on site optimization as opposed to email marketing. I am not there just yet.

Steffff- honestly Ive tried a few free trials (which are the exact same thing as the paid versions but have a time limit) and so far i really do like Inspectlet.com mostly because it does what the other guys do except cheaper. Its $8 for heat maps, visitor screen capture, and real-time analytics where as the other guys just do one of those things each and charge you $10 each so u would really end up spending $30 total if you want them all.

i was just scared at first because i hadnt heard of inspectlet before so i just wanted to know what people thot. u shud try their free trail and see for yourself they don't ask for credit card so you really got nothing to lose. But other than inspectlet, i think click tale is pretty awesome but they are rather expensive, still you have nothing to lose by trying out their free trial too.

You need a brain to help you not a program. I give you 3 ideas to help. 1. Analyze- Find out what people are attracted to the most ex: If your article about pitbull puppies attracts the most clicks play around with increasing info about pitbull puppies. 2.Product Placement- left or right bottom middle of page DOES make a difference. 3.Product Improvement- Are you only offering red cups? Try Blue or Yellow and see which color sells more and NO there is no short and easy way around increasing conversion/sells. Always be open to constant change. Markets change all the time SUMMER WINTER SPRING FALL so stay on your toes!!!

I use market samurai (but don't promote them, dang it). Their blog is running a series of articles/videos on conversion that is worth looking at. go to www.noblesamurai.com and look for the blog.

Then go to my site and buy some stuff!

Conversion rate depends on so many factors. To getting best conversions, you must aware about all of them.
