I have been running my campaign (with two ad groups) since 11 Apr 08. Below is the summary of the performance statistics:

    ad group 1

    clicks 7
    impression 167
    CTR 4.19%
    Avg ad position 5.4
    conversion 42.86%

    ad group 2

    clicks 17
    impression 167
    CTR 4.19%
    Avg ad position 5.4
    conversion 42.86%

No sale yet. I use similar landing page (but optimized for different keywords).

what sort of action should I take in oder to generate sales?

    Thanks for your advice.

What's your conversion rate of 42.86% based on?

Ads - You could re-visit your ad text and target it better. Possibly you're drawing visitors that aren't ready to buy or it isn't what they're after.

Landing pages - check your loading times, whether your visitors are bouncing straight away. If you've already optimized it for keywords, check you've got your call to actions above the fold and try multivariate testing with changing different elements on your page.

This isn't really an adwords question, I'm not trying to be rude I just mean that you should search outside the adwords forum about this, adwords can only bring in clicks, how your page converts is an entirely different matter and there are probably thousands of sites and how to guides about that topic, such as site design, product presentation, site programming (what kind of site is it, is it a web 2.0 app that has a lot of good features or some basic site with little programming behind it?)

24 clicks is not enough to make any concrete decisions. Run it longer to see what happens. At least 100 clicks and report back

    Also whats the conversion for?

I totally agree with what you've just mentioned. Try at least 100 clicks and report back the result like what Robert just mentioned. You will see the difference. :)
