how to improve adsense search ctr? I get about 10 impressions and 0 clicks everyday:(

Please help me in increasing search ctr. Which option is best to choose - display on the same window or new window or on the same page> and what colors are the best if we are selecting any of the first two options and also should we show results only from our site or the web...which one is better

 

Hi Phani, 10 impressions are not enough to produce any real clicks. You need to generate atleast 100 views or more to worry about adsense search earnings. By the way, make sure your results open in same window because users hate pop-up windows. Hope that helps.

 

I have to agree with Carol. To be getting only 10 impressions a day it is kinda hard to get accurate data for your CTR. On top of that I am assuming that some of those visits are you anyway meaning your true traffic is even lower. Don't worry about CTR at this point, just work on getting your traffic higher.

 

Obviously you need to increase your traffic, and get better content - you won't earn anything.

 

sometimes i m not getting a single click with even 1000 impressions then how can u expect click from 10 impression.

First you need to get targetted traffic to your content. Once you get it, you will get automatically conversations from the visitors of your site.

 

Start worrying about adsense when you get about 100-200 visitors per day.
unsitll then just keep building backlinks and fill your website.

 

You need a lot of traffic and impressions before you can start doing any real testing.
I like to show search results in my own site or the same window and just experiment with the colors to see which works best for that particular site.

 

Funny. You are receiving 10 impressions and you are panic about your ctr? Come on man, spend more time on the content of your site.

I get about 100 search requests a day, CTR can be anything from 2-10%. This still translates to less than $1 a day. You want big numbers, you need big traffic, its that simple.

Receiving 10 impressions won't get you any clicks. If you do, consider yourself lucky. Try to improve your traffic. Then you can experiment with ad placements only after your impressions and traffic have improved.
