    site: www.hishy.com

My blog is about General health issues. since I inserted google adsense ad code in my blog header, I am experiencing a little problem. Ads on home page are about money making, adsense it self, adsense ebooks etc. ( nothing to do with the topic of blog).

Ads are quite relevent on all other pages . looking forward for some tips to increase the ad relevence with the content.:)

You could try using section targeting

(your design is messed up with Firefox, you could want to fix it first)

The section targeting takes up to one week (MAX!) to set in. I would suggest that method, as that's really the only way to fix the problem. I think this is the weirdest AdSense problem I've ever seen! :p

i know you didn't asked for a review, but imho you could get some "ad" free space in there. there's a lot of content in there, it's dificult to keep track of anything.

ontopic: try ad targeting and (new) relevant (unique) content.

think thats the best you can do. :) good luck!

    Thanx alot guyz!

So we know after all responses that the only thing to increase the google adsense ads relevancy is Section targeting.

    are there any other parameters???

Yes, section targeting again. Not trying to be a smart ass but section targeting works the other way around to by de-emphasizing some sections. I know a lot of people use section targeting to emphasize certain paragraphs but it is also a good practice to deemphasize irrelevant sections

To be honest, if the blog is on health and the main page clearly suggests that, you will find you have no problems in attracting the right ads. Google is by far and way the best provider of contextual ads. They are extremely well targetted to the content. May ypour page is a bit of this, and a bit of that which leads to the confusion.
