Use Google Webmasters Tool and and check out the website performance. also you should submit sitemaps in .xml format which is readable by google bots.

 

i want to know is your site is new ? if yes Then Don't place hundreds or thousands of links to a new site the first days.

I've always held to the theory that backlinks are king. You want that good content, for sure. And you want to make daily post, at least. But your backlinks are going to get you your rankings imo.

Yes i agree unique content can surely generate baclinks.

 

Clean you web pages by minimizing javascript, images, flash etc. And fill it with quality content i.e. fresh content. It helps a lot.
