lcwadminbj, just wanted to check with you - by not knowing you-know-what from their elbow you meant personally me or advertisers?
I have seen sites that were pure unadulterated scams that had what is classed as good alexa ratings and I know hundreds of honest sites that have what are classed as poor Alexa ratings. I am referring to the morons that will not do business with a website if it does not have a certain Alexa ranking. I have no idea if you fall into this category or not, so i dont know if i am referring to you as well or not.
Unless you're trying to bring down your Alexa rank for a particular reason, I think you may be focusing on the wrong thing. A good Alexa ranking does not necessarily equal income. What you need is targeted visitors that have an interest in what you have to offer, instead of volumes of untargeted visitors. If you want a huge boost in your Alexa ranking join traffic exchanges, however the traffic you get from those is not going to convert very well.
