How to import blogger blog into joomla

    Hey everyone,

I am trying to get my existing blogger blog posts onto my new joomla site. (I am using the extension myblog) I literally only want to be able to see the existing posts and comments, before I can then start writing new posts via the new website.

Can someone explain in easy terms how to do it? I am not computer literate at all and this is very new to me so any help would be appreciated?

    Thanks a lot.

Download and Install Feed Gator for Joomla, you can find the latest release - http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/feedgator/frs/?action=FrsReleaseBrowse&frs_package_id=3190.
Go to Components --> Feed Gator --> Manage Feeds.
Create a new entry and set the title.
Go to your blog and check the link to your RSS feed at the bottom, it should be something like this: Subscribe to: Posts (Atom)
Set the rest of the properties in the entry and save it.
Select the entry (tick on the left side) and then click on “Import All”.

That should be it, all the entries should now be available via the article manager.

I just installed a wordpress blog into my joomla site through a place called corephp. Just thought I would mention it in case you are interested. It cost 69 but get 35% off with a coupon code at Rocket Theme.

You can see my install here, and it was a cinch to install it. This gives you the best of bothg worlds on one site. Joomla and Wordpress. Enjoy! http://www.nicecarvings.com/social/sign-blog/
