How to impart-and Directory Submission for Website in Future? 2010?

I find my keywords last month, it is good position in Google [5 ]. but now seems to dropped in Google position 80. Why position drop in SE?

I have submitted high page rank directory when i start this websites, please provide the suggestion to need Dir submission or Not for future?

I agree that directory submission is still important, but at the same time you should also consider alternative means such as article marketing.
In addition, regularly updating your website with fresh, original, and high quality content will help a lot in maintaining as well as raising your rankings.

The position may have dropped because of lack of quality content and lack of updating of content. If you concentrate on that your site will regain its positions.

 

Directory submission is one of the factors, which we have done for basic SEO, But Now Google change the algorithm, Only Quality content are Indexed in Google search engine its should be Relevant to " Real time search". So directory submission are one of the factors that's all and one thing Google filtering the Spammers what are all done spam techniques for they sites, so do little directory submission, article submission, bookmarking, Press release, quality link exchange etc... In future, directory submission is important but not much ?????????
