Hey, I've got a dating information product for men and I'm trying to research sites for a first round of PPC ad testing. Aside from just Googling and finding websites that could serve my ad, what other tools do you recommend for research? What considerations go into researching a website before you drop the money on the ad? And once I've discovered a worthwhile site, how do I figure out which ad network is serving on that site and get my ads on that site? For example, I tried serving to OKCupid.com targeting just single men in a certain age group. I googled "advertise on OKCupid" and something from AdBrite came up. After creating a campaign it was then deleted (which is weird) and the data on OKCupid from adbrite is pretty scarce... looks shady to me. Finally, if you've got ad networks or sites that come to mind for a "How to date more women" offer for single men, I'd love to hear them.
