    here are some tips to quickly identify good quality websites :

    1 - if it has a lot of traffic : check it with alexa.com
    2 - if it has a good pagerank : higher than 3
    3 - look and feel of the index page
    4 - User generated content or not
    5 - Number of backlinks detected : yahoo site explorer
    6 - trust of domain : open site explorer
