I was trying to use google adword yesterday to generate keywords but i don't understand how to and how does it works, can some direct me to a good read about it?

Another two excellent keyword research tools available are Micro Niche Finder by James Jones (it was about $100.00 some time ago) and the free Keyword Optimizer Pro by Dave Guidon. Great value on both but agreed that Google Keyword Tool is the King Kong of them all. tks
Use Google keyword tool and find out a list of keywords with high competition keywords. These are the keywords for which people are mostly searching for. With low competition keyword, you can get rank for your blog easily but they won't be getting searched in result results.
As Agree with Everyone, Google Keyword tool is the best Keywords as per the record. But i want to make sure that if you are doing a keyword research for PPC purpose, then choose relevant keywords based on your site. Also try to focus on Broad, Exact and Phrase match type.
if you are doing for Adwords or PPC, Adwords tool is best without any doubt. However if its for organic SEO or something else, in that case you would need a better tool which gives you more insights on the competition and other stuff. you can do it manually anyway with just adwords tool but hey tool is to save times right ?
