How to hit 1st page of digg BTW how many friends do u need in ur digg account How many diggs u need for an article ( link thats been submitted ) to hit the 1st page Digg is all about traffic but hitting 1st page is what i want to know Thx in advance who can explain me the logic behind it
Dude before you wish you hit the first page on DIGG try to make sure first that your hosting can handle the traffic after getting to the first page Anyway back to your question. I think the recipe is the amount of DIGG you get on a short period of time. Like for example your entry get 1,000 digg in just 1 hour and yes you need tons of friend for you to get that BIG kick start.
Hitting the frontpage of digg is a hard thing to do and requires quite a few things to be right, first off you need good content then you need a good digger to submit the article and then you need people in your network who can promote the articles and get it dugg. After all of this your article could hit the frontpage but everything has to click together.
This topic has been beaten to death on Digitalpoint - there are lots of good threads explaining how others have done it though.
TheBlogMan is dead on! To follow up on what he said, time of day is also very important. Submitting an article at 4pm on the West Coast on a Sunday is not ideal. You have to have good content or it won't work, period. If you own a blog, check out the groups section on blogcatalog.com. I've seen a few groups that there sole intention is to help each other get on the first page of digg. Here's the link http://www.blogcatalog.com/group/digg-it
