    Guess the title says it all, being new to DP i dont have much experience in hiring people here so just needed some advice on what to look out for

    i posted in the BST section looking for a programmer and have had a couple of replies, but when i asked to see examples of work they didnt have anything

    one guy quoted me one big figure and then when i said someone else will do it for so many bucks he messaged back saying ill match the price

    i dont need anything complicated just a simple java script using the google directions api but how would i know who to trust i dont just want to hand over some cash and then end up waiting for weeks or getting nothing at all

    any pointers would be much appreciated

    I really recommend you ask them for their portfolio
    or previous projects so you can gauge what
    they can do. Else, you will be wasting your time.

    Just weed through all the pm's you are receiving, until
    you find the person who can work on ur project.
